Thoughtlife

In the summer of 2004, Rand Wagner founded a ministry and missional effort called Thoughtlife. The purpose of the organized movement was to glorify the Creator by encouraging authentic and thoughtful faith centered in the incarnate and risen Lord Jesus Christ. Thoughtlife has been somewhat of an axis of Christian thought, renewal, and apologetic effort. It has given Truth seekers opportunities to become more profoundly committed in their discipleship to the Only wise God. It has encouraged and challenged individuals and groups to go deep into the depths of the Faith which corresponds with Truth and to take that truth to thier communities with a winsome and attractive outreach. Through various means we have aimed to demonstrate the truth of the Gospel and the Christian worldview beyond a reasonable doubt.

Thoughtlife was designed to increase the level and intensity of reasonable faith that is not simply a blind adherence to some ideology– but rather is a faith that genuinely encounters and corresponds with the ultimately real and living God. Our goal has been to prepare minds for action (1 Pet. 1:13),  to defend the faith (1 Pet. 3:15), and to destroy arguments opposed to the knowledge of God (2 Cor. 10:5) in service to the One who made the mind. Our God is the essence of love and logic and, thus, everything we do and are is for the glory of Christ from our whole person. We consider the perfect blend of reason and faith, love and logic, truth and grace, mind and heart to be at the core of our relationship with Yahweh. Thus, we are committed to illuminating the mind, ministering to the heart, and engaging the culture!

Thoughtlife is currently developing content and maintaining a blog presence that prepares Christians to articulate the Christian worldview reverently, intelligently, confidently and compassionately in a so-called post-modern culture. Our desire is that with an increased understanding in what and why they believe, Christians will also become more confident and tactful in reaching out to the unchurched community and culture- thus impacting the world with greater effectiveness as ambassadors for the Lord Jesus.
